Joseph was residing at Cape Sable with his family at this time according to the marriage record of his and Marie Amirault's son, Joseph Mius 2 to Marie-Josephe Prejean at Port Royal, which took place on September 9, 1726. The treaty ratification took place on June 4, 1726.
